DUSHI in CUR

This was a very impromptu destination as I was trying to get to a different country.. I booked last minute and stayed for 5 night's. Very quiet because "no children!" Breakfast was filling, happy hour from 5-6. The pool/ beach is a nice touch. Walkable to town (10 min). There you can shop at the floating mkt or mkt. Or take a $2 bus to anywhere. Reception will set up tours for you and you can get picked up outside gate. Very nice and I would stay again. I would give a 10 but the restaurant is only open for breakfast. But I could have cooked. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Would have loved to stay on property for dinner as a Solo traveler.

GREAT HISTORICAL PLACE - EXCELLENT POOL

The Hotel is like a Village, is safe and you feel very confortable, the colors of the houses, everything is beautiful. You need to walk a few blocks to get to the center, but is great and not so mutch. The pool is great!

The property is within walking distance to the old city centre and close to the cities' ring road. It was so great to use their private beach pool after a hot day out.The kitchenette in our room was small but manageable.

Found it to be quiet and safe

There is a restaurant area which only operates during breakfast hours. Outside of that if you need something to eat you will have to walk about 15 minutes into the center for food. there is also a mini kitchen where you can cook.

A comfortable and convenient stay whilst working on our boat.

comfortable bed and adequate small kitchen with stove and fridge for making meals. A pool, bar and restaurant also in the complex. Good food in restaurant. It was only a 20 minute walk to our boat in Curacao Marine.

No window in room and some neighbours noisy initially but quiet after requesting they talk quietly outside.

Extraordanary Hotel and Hostel

We stayed 8 nights at Ritz Hotel in a room called caribbean loft. The room was very spaceous. At an upper gallery was the very large and comfortable bed. Downstairs were the living room with a small kitchenett. The last renovation seemed some times ago butt this didn't reduce the comfort in this room. There were enough free parking space. There is a small pool with sunchairs and a poolbar. There stuff was very kind and helpfull.

The interior of our loft seemed kind of used but this could not disturb the comfy atmorphere.

Nice place

The hotel used to be an Ice cream factory, we are saluted on arrival With a taste of the ice cream. Facilities are ok, location is very Good - easy to go to restaurants and Punda. In our room there was a small kitchen With all needed to cook and have breakfast in there. Good room and hotel if you are by car.

Prices are all charged on USD and are expensive at the bar. 13usd for the breakfast is not worth if not included in your room fee. Shower is not hot, because a sun boiler is used.

Great location in a good location

We liked the location and availability of parking spaces. We felt in good hands, the staff always greeted us and was friendly. There was a lot of information about activities on the island and in the direct vicinity to the hotel. The small kitchen in the room was also great, so you could quickly prepare a fruit salad and refrigerate your drinks in the fridge. The area of the hotel really looks like a small village, especially in the evening we liked the many fairy lights. The history of the hotel is also very interesting.

Unfortunately our room door (1105) was repeatedly not properly locked after cleaning. The door was leaned or not fallen into the lock and could have been entered by anyone without a key card. After the second incident I reported this problem to the cleaning staff, who assured me that they would now pay particular attention to it. Unfortunately the next day the door was not closed properly again. Then I put a note in the room with the request to close the door correctly after cleaning, unfortunately this did not help either. The door wasn't closed properly almost every day. We carried all our valuables in the rental car then, which was very annoying. In addition, from time to time there were cleaning residues on the toilet seat. I reported this to the reception and shortly afterwards a cleaning lady came to me in the room. She almost saw it as an insult that I reported it and tried to explain to me that it was simply the colour of the toilet seat. After I had briefly discussed it with her, I simply removed the residue myself. Which, by the way, simply worked with toilet paper and water. The reception staff was always very understanding and helpful, the cleaning staff had long discussions in both cases and I had the feeling that I was not taken seriously. It was never my intention to blame someone personally, but to draw attention to a problem. Mistakes can happen, that's not so bad, but they should be corrected after repeated feedback. Unfortunately, these experiences had a negative influence on our stay. Despite this negative experiences we would book again in the Ritz Village.

Staff was amazing Very helpful.........great location to the town of Willemstad a short walk 5-7 mins.....lots of shops and very nice waterfront

Fridge freezer sooo full of frost in need of defrost ...($2:50 USD for ice) Safe didn’t work....said they would look at it at an arranged time but as in Caribbean stardard. ........waited 2 hours for it to be fixed......did not come to fix........not wasting our day wanted to go out an see island Dead bold on front door didn’t work It if you can overlook these problems we had a good time at the pool in the evenings.
